Welcome to the April Flowers edition of Deep Heaven Now! Continuuing the bi/semi-annual tradition of the original Deep Heaven ambient/psych festivals of the 90s in Boston we bring you Deep Heaven Now! Featuring the very best of the East Coast, Mid-West & West Coast Ambient/Experimental/Psychedelic Rock scene.
The third edition of Deep Heaven Now is a 2 day event starting Friday, April 15th through Saturday, April 16th! Happening ...outside during the day will also be a big tent with band's merch tables and other various local vendors... or maybe another rock n' roll yard sale... interested vendors inquire here...
ONE $10 admission fee gets you access to BOTH venues for that day. Precinct set times start on the 12 and PA's set times start on the 6. Set times will overlap minimally so there'll be plenty of time to check out almost all the bands if you want to. $10/day.
Hi Lites from Night 1 include Sharp Darts featuring 3 former members of Lockgroove who were an integral part of the original Deep Heavens of the 90s. Headlining the night on stage 1 is Ghost Box Orchestra who got chosen represent Boston at Austin Psychfest this year! And on stage 2 MMOSS who were in the the phoenix last month as 12 bands to watch out for this year. Our notable out of town guests include The Curious Mystery off of the K Records Label travelling all the way from Seattle, WA as well as Diamond Center from VA who are also playing Austin Psychfest this year as well.
Hi Lites from Night 2 include 2 Headliners... This Car Up's reunion show as well as Young Adults both from Allston... the Sunshine Factory coming all the way up from Alabama as well as the Brooklyn Raga Association bringing with them their transcendental sitar, tabla, woodwind & vocal raga music.. Sky Drops from DE who are playing Austin Psychfest as well.. too many hi lites to list... (28dt is the official dhn "house band".. not a headliner)
